Sia Radikal is a latvian thrash'n'roll five piece which celebrated their debut album "Mono War" in 2011.

The band has intense three year history of hiting the biggest stages and festivals althrough the Baltic States, that has finally ended-up in an album. Sia Radikal plays fast and groovey, as allows every instrument to show it's might, whether it's bass or solo guitar or vocals.

The band gained much attention with the design of it's debut because of the skeletonized national icon - M?ra - which is set on the silver coin of Latvia in early 30ties in last century - the symbol of once wealthy and strong country, that could tell it's faith on it's own as did Lithuania and Estonia too.

Novaday under the spell of western capitalism these symbols seem to be rottnen a little bit, don't they? Sia Radikal praises free speech and metal brutalness when it's necessery, but also dulges into acoustic balladry when the thematics get touchy and minor-oriented.

Beyond design music is prevalent for Sia Radikal, especially when played live. With core of Testament, Pantera, Machine Head, Metallica, Lamb Of God...ahhh you name it...so Sia Radikal delivers a non-stop pure metal satisfaction to any audience they play to.

The band has also prepared english lyrics to please any audiences out there but also there are pieces which are left in latvian for the touch of exotic for people abroad - latvian sounds pretty much metal when Dainis Rijkuris (vokalz) gets to the microphone, as do Gustavs Terzens and Arturs Mucenieks with their guitars, Matiss Elsbergs on bass and new age Bonzo Bravado prodigy Jekabs Zemzaris on drums. As for now...hmmm...Sia Radikal is looking forward to write material for their second studio effort, preparing for springtime metal blitzkrieg in Denmark with friends-in-crime Phonomik and...of course... KICK MAXIMUM ASS ...and yours too!!!!!!
